Re: "Remember, I was attacked a few weeks ago."I just shifted wall panel #2. I didn't flip it, I just rolled it off the stack so it's at a 45. Then I SPRINTED back to the house because at least 25 wasps appeared in seconds and started to swarm. This panel is going to take me a while. I'll return to it in 30 minutes and flip the panel, then sprint indoors again. Then I'll go back to it and spray the nest. Then hide for another half hour. Then I'll remove the nest and load the panel onto the flatbed. What's that going to take? Two hours??? I'm glad I have other things to do....

Gold is $1,581/oz today. When it hits $2,000, it will be up 26.5%. Let's see how long that takes. - De 3/11/2013 - ANSWER: 7 Years, 5 Months

Re: "So, pklease explain the walls. You had these walls pre-made to go in place sort of likle a pre-fab design and they have been there since last year? That's remarkable... Are you going to relocate them yourself or what exactly are they for?"
They were free. My wife found them on freecycle, and we'd just bought the flatbed. They came originally from JC Penney. The store had remodeled and was throwing them out. The guy we got them from picked them up with the intention of making a shed, but he never got around to it and was moving.

The plan is to set them up in the barn's second floor. Its ceiling is high enough for these panels to fit with maybe a half inch to spare. I'm going to have to come up with some means of anchoring them so that they can't fall. Falling would be baaaad.

The barn is 30' x 60', and I have 17 of these panels, each of which is 4 feet wide. So I can use them to form two rooms within the barn, maybe an office and a woodshop. Having walls to hold in all that sawdust would be REALLY nice.
Re: "De, what is temperature there right now... It's only 88 here right now. " 75°F at 2:17 p.m. It's an unusually cool day. Most are in the low 80s. Sunday is supposedly going to be 94°F. It may kill me. (No air conditioning.)Re: "Did I mention I hate wasps, hornets, yellow jackets, pretty much anything that stings and will attack in swarms..?"You didn't, but you're not alone. Remember, I was attacked a few weeks ago.

But I'd welcome one of those attacks each and every year if we could just lose the %@#$(! ticks. (This year, they haven't been that bad. I think I found 4 crawling on me, and two of those were at the same time after I touched a tree at the new property. Last year, there were dozens including six at once when I set up the greenhouse and had to kneel in the yard.)
