Across from Paros is Antiparos, a small island, a short boat ride across, where Tom Hanks spends his summers with family, hanging out with the locals, etc.

You’d have to translate, but the pictures say it all. Like ah’ said time and again, there is nothing like the Greek islands, the Cyclades in particular, and the only competition to that absolute beauty, mysticism felt, the scents, is the west, the canyons, the colors, the landscapes.. The scents in Greece will make you think it is the first time you felt your nose being there. Furthermore there is no climate like the Mediterranean climate anywhere else in the world.
Btw, the only place in America I have found with a temperate(the only closest equivalent) climate is Presscot AZ. Today’s temp in Phoenix 104, Prescott 88. Haven’t seen it higher than that the last couple of weeks, while Phoenix has been up to 110. Still not Mediterranean, but very decent.
