Was planning to spend all summer into September back home. Well, that’s out the window, although I can go there, but what’s the point of watching your every step in the land of freedom? They don't have a problem, but imported cases are screwing up the landscape.
Then, I thought, I’d just go out west, but the west is on fire. I was going to go hunting out of Sedona, Prescott, stay in a cabin, practice the western man life I belong to, other than the NYC native, what a chasm there, but not really. I can walk and chew gum at the same time. I do in Rome as Romans do.
I can’t complain. Others have a real hard time, so I am conscious of how lucky I have been. It is hard giving up your life, which is what pretty much many of us have done. I understand sacrifice for the good of everyone. That is a part of America that has come apart this time, and there is no one to lead. My biggest frustration is that we still have months to begin back on track. We have to get rid of Trump first. He is the reason there is some much despair, pain, suffering, and animosity in our country these days.
Anyway, this is going to be a screwy summer, and I have to deal with it. The good thing is I can go out on the bike and be in peace in the rolling roads of farms and meadows of the Hudson Valley, one of the most beautiful and cultural in America. NY may not be the best tax heaven, but it is the top state for lifestyle and culture in America, and interfacing with the intellectual capacity to make encounters pleasurable. Last but not least is I am in a state that has a leader with a PROVEN brain. You can’t argue with under 1% infection rate, You just can’t. I hope it stays there as pressure from other states mounts.
