We've bought many things as a result of FB "ads" (which aren't always ads.) Sportsmansguide sale items come to mind. Local restaurants have made special offers... essentially coupons... through FB. And Facebook Marketplace is probably the #1 source we use for 2nd hand items. I think we found our house trailer there (the wife just said 'no, that was Craig's list.') And that soccer goal. And all the wall panels (that are still stacked up in the field.) And garage and rummage sales. We like it a lot more than either Freecycle or Craig's list.
