My sad looking new garden. It's 20' by 50' - about three times the size of the upper garden. That means I've got four times as much garden as last year, but nowhere close to as much I'd hoped to plant this year.

Later, this lower garden should look better. Right now, it's all homemade trellises and cages. If you look closely, you can see that MOST of my vegetables have sprouted. That's the drawback to growing from seed, though... it doesn't look as nice as quickly as it would if I'd bought plants at Home Depot. On the other hand, I'm growing some really interesting vegetables - yard long green beans, for instance, for a small fraction of the cost.
