Well, Trump told the EPA and FDA that forcing them to take it off the shelves would hurt Bayer's bottom line and he couldn't allow that to happen. I wonder what impact the $10 billion will have? Of course, they could just appeal and tie this up in the courts for years, while they continue to sell Roundup around the world, including at Home Depot. And it's not like Trump was protecting an American company, as Bayer is headquartered in Germany. I've driven by the Bayer building in Sachsenhausen, just across the river from Frankfort, many times. In fact, one of my favorite restaurants in Germany is located in Sachsenhausen.
