...if a tazer is a deadly weapon then why do they give em to cops to use in non life threatening situations? Seems that a .45 would work as well.
...it is not a deadly weapon when used on a perp because the cops use it to try and subdue same without killing them.
...it is a deadly weapon when a perp uses it on a cop cause once disabled, the cop has a gun which the perp can now get control of and kill the cop and anyone else who happens by that he don't like.
