Most likely.

But I wouldn't want to be teased about something like this as a kid. Other kids can be brutal. Being bullied is horrible.

So my concern is really about that. Would the kid be happy? Or would his life be miserable because adults talk about rights, while in reality, kids can be monsters.

If kids are less vicious than I imagine, then I don't have any problem, except of the sort you are talking about, which is a case by case thing.

I imagine it depends on the temperament & morals of the parents, regardless if they are gay or straight.
