I agree, the child's interest is paramount.

That said, the argument wasn't about their parenting, but where the child was born, via surrogate in Canada.

Cases about parents' rights and not about the interests of children do very little for me.

If it is in the best interests of a child to have these parents, then I am for it.

If the children would be damaged, I am against it.

The rights of gay parents isn't the lens a court should look through, in my opinion. The child has the vulnerability I am interested in.
