Not my fight, but i am not keen on purging the past to accommodate the present.
Everyone is flawed. To me it's a sign of thoughtfulness that we can see merit in people knowing they have feet of clay.

Right now we have idiots complaining about Churchill. Apparently being prime minister of Britain when Britain and its commonwealth partners stood alone against Hitler isn't sufficient to wipe away his sins. He must be judged against the current standard of purity.
