REMINGTON 700 BDL

Essentially the same as the Marine Corps Sniper Rifle from the Vietnam era. The BDl has a smother operating bolt and an adjustable trigger for "trigger pull". The sniper rifle has a heavy barrel which is important because it takes more time to heat up enough for it to effect the efficiency of the weapon. Mine is a .243 and I use a 100 grain bullet which is more accurate than the lighter loads. It leaves the barrel at around 3000 feet per second. That is 2045 mph and it will vaporize anything it hits. Anybody with any rifle training at all should be able to put 8 out of 10 shots in the 10 ring without a problem at 300 yards.

You got 20 round mags Sir Wizard? Did those come standard with the AR ?

I'm jealous a little. My 9 mm full size Ruger only has 15 round mags.... 147 grain hollow points..

Am looking at adding a favorite rifle of Ribit's to my Weapons. A Remington 700 with a scope and a long barrel.

Ribs said these things are accurate from a long way away as I recall...
