Well resoned as usual BUTTTTTTTTT (you knew it was coming) lol,

here's a grand idea. I am going to assume your wife is a legal adult, over age 18, and she is fairly capable of making decisions and choices......

Why don;t you simply let her make up her own mind what her preferences are regarding mask wearing...

My misses doesn't do anything she don't want to and the old saying applies, If mama ain't happy, ain't nobody happy.... You know what I'm talking about......

So if miz micro wants to wear a mask around its okay with me. If she don't that's okay as well. She is an adult and can make up her own mind...
I suspect miz De is quite capable of making choices as well.

They just let us think we're smart De..... ! Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

A popular technique among propagandists is to take a true statement or sentiment they wish to discredit and associate it with blatant lies. Shallow people will connect the one to the others, turn them all into the same thing and, just like that, the propagandist wins.

In the image below, two lies surround a true statement, and it is all laid atop what looks to be a Communist or Nazi poster - just to evoke strong emotions. Propaganda is all about manipulating people via emotion, not facts or logic. Masks have little to do with making anyone free. They also have nothing to do with showing strength and compassion for others. They do show that you care about other people's health. I certainly do, but only because if other people get sick, there's a far better chance that my family will too. I care about other people's health. I don't want my family to catch COVID-19 from them. Not very compassionate, am I??? LOL...

In December, I had more reason than usual to contemplate death. I think I mentioned that I was very surprised to find that I wasn't afraid of it. I *was* afraid, though, for my wife. I'd made some financial decisions that really depended on my living another ten years. If I'd died in 2019, she'd have been screwed, and that's what I feared. My view is that it's my job to protect her. If I'd died, I'd have failed - at least in my mind. So I finally felt fear. She's what matters the most to me.

Now apply that to COVID-19 and masks. If I don't wear a mask and I get sick, I'm okay with that. Maybe I'll die. It's a risk I might be willing to take. But what if I don't die? What if I instead give the disease to my wife... maybe even before I know that I've got it. What if SHE dies? Hey, that's a risk I'll never take. Losing her would kill me as surely as if my surgeon slipped with his knife, but far more painfully. No thanks. I won't jeopardize her. I'll wear the stupid mask.
