I got into windows 10 stuff because of my notebook, an HP with 8 GB of RAM and a quad core I3 processor from Intel and a 1 terabyte hard drive.
It is painfully slow booting up. I went online to read about how to speed up windows 10.
I found TONS of people having same issues. Some of the interesting things I read have been to disable windows 10 from updating all the time and adding more and more bloat to the system. THAT is one main reason. Another has to do boot time. I also got rid of all the HP non-essential programs they added that boot up when the computer starts also..
LAstly, replace the hard drive with a solid state hard drive. I have yet to do that but will after surgery. That alone willr eally speed it up. I noticed a sizeable increase in boot time when I went to Cleveland on Tuesday this week. SO it was a good start but still needs help... My desktop runs circles around this freaking laptop and the tyechnology is not as new except for the solid state hard drive....
Time to invest in another.....
