But knee surgery is notoriously painful, and I wouldn't be surprised if what you've got coming up hurts more than what I went through. (What hurt in my case was sleeping with weight on either shoulder, and a sense when I was upright that my organs were loose and might fall out of my abdomen. The pain, though, wasn't that bad. (The kidney stone in early December was more painful.) After the first 48 hours, ordinary tylenol and lidocaine patches were my only pain meds, and when I went home after 5 days I only used tylenol.)

Best of luck to you. Hopefully everything goes smoothly and your knee winds up being better than ever.

Hi. I just returned from the surgeon visit (orthopedic doc, knee specialist) and then went immediately to have a covid-19 swab test.

SO I am officially quarantined until THursday next week when at 6:00 a.m. I have to be at the surgery center about a mile from my house.

Doc looked at the MRI and said "THAT's a big tear" referring to the meniscus. He thought it would take maybe an hour for the work he needs to so it won't be bad at all.

I will be happy to be able to walk again . Of course it will be some time afterward until that can happen but ya got to start somewhere...

I wonder if I told my clients to send food, candy, and money if any of them would? lol!!!!!! My misses wouldn't let me have it anyway....

Her reasoning is that if she canot things wioth sugar in it then nobody else in the house can either....
Makes perfect sense if yer a female....... Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

SO I am IN. Stuck indoors. No more going to the stores without a mask!!!! Dang it....
