The difference is that the Russians know how to win the presidency but they were mashed in the House at the midterms, so I'm thinking that Trump has a shot at cheating to win, like last time, but McConnell in the Senate not so much.
Many swing voters will have noticed 100k dead Americans and that Trump did bugger all.
