Since some BananaRepublican states are cheating on their reporting, who knows what the real number of deaths is. Florida, for instance, is clearly counting less than a third of the total. So add 4,000 to Florida alone.

"According to the CDC, so far this year, Florida has had 1,762 deaths from #COVID and 5,185 from pneumonia.

Average pneumonia deaths in Florida from 2013-2018 for the same time period are 918."

The deliberate omissions also explain the surprisingly low mortality rate in the US.

Basically, you can't trust much of anything in countries run by corrupt populist autocrats like the US, Brazil and Russia.

100k deaths in the US from COVID 19 and still 20k new cases or so every day.

I hope this virus is weakened by sunshine, as that is the only shot the US has, given that Bananarepublicans are surrendering, like weak, cheese-eating simians and giving the virus to everyone they can.
