HK was China's golden goose. It poured capital into China.

But China may finally feel it has critical mass and doesn't need a free HK any more.

Inevitable, I suppose. One country, one system is what they will want.

But in the long run, lack of a rule of a genuine law system will damage China. Because people won't invest if the protections the law provides are absent.
