I didn't go there much, but what you said is what I remember. Cheaply, fast made items.....

This is not a surprise to anyone who has followed this stock and chain for several years. Sales have been in a continuous decline for at least ten years I can remember because I had stock in Pier 1 Imports. I rarely bought anything there because it had become a junk store from the under developed Asian markets.
To me, this was expected as are several other events. I hope JC Peneny reorganizes and goes full blast with its remainng profitable stores.. The one near me is a profitable store... I hope after people are coming back out and allowed to shop normally, not BS distancing, that things geet profitable for them again.. I REALLY like what the new CEO is doing going back to what looks nice again in clothing and getting rid of stupid things like Appliances and matresses.. They are neither of these and people don;t go to Penny's to buy those things..
Clothes in various styles including conservative to modern at good prices is their forte...
