Yes, our local Home Depot is open for business, but you can't enter the store if you're not wearing a face mask. You have to wait in line, at the only entrance open, to enter the store (only a limited number of people are allowed in the store at once and you can't enter until another customer leaves). All carts are wiped-down with disinfectant before you can take one into the store. All employees are wearing masks and and most are also wearing gloves. Check-out is either by self-checkout or by a clerk standing behind a plastic shield. And they enforce social-distancing as much as possible, particularly when waiting to enter the store and when checking out.

There was no social distancing at Home Depot, nor any other such big establishment, and online stores like Amazon, but the local hardware and other stores were closed.

One thing is to have a government that has any sense, and the other is to have Trump and the republicans making rules and who’s getting handouts. They have failed in every way.
