Let me state that my post was not correct. I have had some larger two cycle engines that had oil reservoirs and they ran very well lubricating the moving parts..
It appears the majority of really small 2 cycle engines still use the inexpensive method of mixing a fractional tiny bot of specialized oil in gasoline and that is supposed to doa fine job lubricating the moving parts in hose little motors..
Unfortunately, many owners of such engines discover after awhile that this setup while easy and keeps the engine smaller, does not provide the same level of friction redcing that an oil reservoir with lubrication being done exclusively with oil not being incinerated by the piston combustion temp and spark plug...
So I was incorrect when I posted that Ribs..
Iffen one is going to buy a roto tiller,get one with a four stroke engine like a decent Lawn Mower. Separate lubricating system. They will last a lot longer...
