I wouldn't be too upset. The market and the economy are very different things.

People with money need to figure where to put it. They probably expect real estate to perform poorly so they are switching into other things. I doubt it reflects on growth in the economy as a whole. There are plenty of asset classes that are hurting. We need people to preserve capital so that when the recovery does come, there's a way to fund it privately, as far as possible.

I'm upset, even with the economic numbers, the market is rallying. Its obscene.
