I think I am seeing the pattern of gradual reduction forming in the number of actual cases in the US - the same rollercoaster you see in Italy and Spain with several bumps along a declining line, but with the US maybe four weeks behind (just as Italy and Spain were afflicted sooner).
If true, that would be wonderful. A chance for earned respite, rather than simply giving up due to the weakness of federal administrative resolve. Hope the US grabs its opportunity and the government takes the edge off the pain for everyone. This is one where jumping the gun is deadly.
It's also great for the sense of community when everyone (except the gun morons) keeps trying even when things are hard.
