In order to believe what they fervently wanted to believe they
first told themselves that ALL of the WMD's being found were
leftovers from the Iraq vs iran War. When that became untenable
then 'there weren't enough' . . . What was obviously intended to
be the fill for chemical warheads became 'harmless pesticides'.
And, OCU's crowning glory - "Those chemical warheads aren't really
chemical warheads because they are empty."
That's the point at which I was finally convinced OCU was a
'useful idiot' who would find ways to believe what his lords
and masters told him no matter how idiotic it became.
