Okay, csl. Have you had enough of Tara Reade as a stalking horse to relitigate Kavanaugh?

We're not moving on to the Fox News smear about Biden's mental competence.

I see the framework. You will dress Biden to look the same as Trump to blunt the criticism of the president in the categories in which Trump is profoundly vulnerable. Usual Fox News tactic. Boring conversations.

Corrupt children. Check.
Sexual predator. Check.
Mentally incompetent. Check.

I said I wasn't interested in you bringing the Fox News stuff here. But you are finagling a second smear into this conversation. Cunning.

The character of this board is not what you seem to wish it to be. By all means watch Hannity and listen to Limbaugh, and look for folks who want to discuss their ideas. This place isn't it.

Since you are not going to self-isolate, and have thrown a friendly offer back in my face, I'm putting you on furlough. I think you'll be happier elsewhere for the moment. I'm not interested in entertaining the Bananarepublican electoral strategy of dirtying the conversation with artfully-constructed smears. We all know Biden's character. He's a decent man who has suffered much. I hoped you would bring your own ideas here.

1. The President is authorized to nominate candidates. The vetting process is whatever satisfies him. Regardless of the process the President used it is obvious nothing would be acceptable to the other side.

2. None of the Kavanaugh accusers were credible, in my opinion.

3. There was no evidence I saw that Kavanaugh lied.

There unquestionably is a double standard. Republicans historically did not fight back. Trump does.

I agree Trump made a crass remark. I dont defend it. It is also no secret that men who are rich powerful celebrities are sought after by women. I have heard men make remarks in private among other men that they would not make in mixed company. I would guess you have as well. My guess is the same thing might occur among women. Trump used a pithy crass remark describing the situation.
It doesnt define him.

Regardless Biden is at best a temporary placeholder. Given the rate of his decline it appears certain to me he will not be the nominee.
