So sick of conversations about rights, as if duties don't matter every bit as much.

Do I have a duty not to infect other people with a virus which might kill them? Actually, you do. Certainly you do if you expose me to a life-threatening virus which you carry knowingly, or if you act recklessly.

Why does a document like the US constitution make some people unwilling to think about the harm that is done to others by the exercise of what they call their rights?

The landscape we inhabit is not limitless. People live together. So-called rights conflict. If you want to pursue happiness, understand that your idea of what that is may conflict with mine not to be negatively affected.

If the price of an easter church service is that many people die, I'd say the person who organised it should be put away for reckless endangerment and manslaughter.
