To use the Hitler metaphor which Americans often use to denote history, I would not seek to be friendly and non-condescending in a conversation with Nazis. Why should I be friendly and non-condescending to someone who supports the corrupt, incompetent and sociopathic Trump administration? It's the most appalling, wicked, dishonest government I've seen in a western country during my political lifetime. There's no middle ground. I want these people to be thrown out and prosecuted.
