Interesting that you think it must be idiotic without reading it first.

Shows how the process works: high up GOP people lock in the outrage response before the discovery phase. The outrage percolates, so that an open-minded, objective appraisal never happens. Seems to work at the rubic level.

The terms of the bill are clearly designed to prevent the usual Bananarepublican tricks to exclude voters who are on the rolls from voting. They've been losing in the courts on that front too.

In fact, you will find the terms in Pelosi's bill are none other than the existing identification standards for voting built into US law.

There's no evidence that a material amount of cheating has been going on under the existing model. Trump invented all of that out of whole cloth. Another one in the long list of conspiracies Republican foxwatchers and limbaughlisteners believe in: Benghazi! Pizzagate! Kenyan Birth Certificate! Seth Rich!

The problem the GOP has is that it is a minority party with unpopular ideologies and policies. It only sustains itself by tampering with the democratic process.

Yeah I know. It’s voter suppression not to pass this idiotic bill.
