Liquidity is grand, but this isn't 2008. This is a disease, not a bank crash. Main Street can't be made to operate through a stimulus, nor should they try: inducing isolated workers to congregate in restaurants, stadia and hairdressers threatens lives. You can only hope to preserve businesses so that they can recover later, and save lives in the meanwhile. There are only similarities here, not carbon copies.
Glad congress is taking its time to get it right. Looking forward to a sensible plan from Pelosi.
