No surprise that McConnell stimulus is too small

He just can't manage something that helps the vulnerable. And so he's shrunk the size of the direct payments to people with incomes under $100k from the amounts negotiated between Mnuchin and Pelosi.

What a dreadful human he is.

But Pelosi holds the cards. She will have to do the same negotiation over again with McConnell that she did with Mnuchin. But she'll get what she wants because the President will pay the political price for the delay. In her shoes, I'd go ahead and pass the bill agreed with Mnuchin. Ignore the turtle.
