The exponential curve swan dived at it's epicentre,a nation
of 1.4 Billion,many elderly.It killed 3,000 & infected 100,000
& then it apparently just disappeared.....

If we were talking a few million deaths or even hundreds
of thousands in a country of 1.5 billion with the virus
still ravaging the country then i would understand the
panic response..............but a few thousand & little to no
new infections showing up for a month.

By TB, you mean tuberculosis?

People aren't scared of TB because most forms of it are curable. It isn't seeing exponential growth. It takes a long time to kill you, so if you have access to a health service, there's little to fear.

Coronavirus is not curable, is seeing exponential growth and is projected to kill many more. Having a health service isn't much help because there's no cure.

I am not seeing you respond to the point about responding to a pandemic curve. You've just found another, currently bigger, number. And you are ignoring the anticipated future of the coronavirus curve. People are reasonably afraid of a death rate of 1-4%. Fortunately, for younger people, the rate is lower, so they might go to work and so on.
