Turns out incompetence is deadly.
It's less visible on other matters.
But introduce a coronavirus and everyone sees what happens: a country with a laisser faire ideology and a government rendered incompetent by design fails to respond, with the result that the US is heading for a pandemic.
Let the market decide. The death rate is 1-4%. It kills old people and people with existing conditions. That is who will pay the price.
The banana Republicans have made the US into a sort of North American medical Somalia this time around, just like they made the world into an unregulated financial wasteland in 2008.
Tragic.
