We may have similar odds. There are factors other than age in calculating risk. Hitler would have been proud of this virus. It removes costly units from the census in favour of economic efficiency and youth.

On average, people in their 40s have a 99.6% survival rate. The curve is steep from the 50s upwards. People in their 80s apparently have a 15% chance of succumbing.

People with existing conditions are also heavily hit. Which means people younger than 50 who don't have an existing condition have very little to fear.

Since the coronavirus shows no fear or favour, and since people are contagious before they have symptoms, there's no reason why it shouldn't end up in the White House too. Maybe it targets golfers and sociopaths, as well as people who are orange, older and overweight.
