So many dummies... So many carry, no matter the area, it's just luck that more incidents aren't happening.

I remember an evening at the local joint, well, it was after a Union meeting, and this spot had dancers, a good bar, live music, so this dude from the audience gets up on stage with his sax to entertain the crowd, but one of his dips let his popgun, a little automatic fall on the stage, he never mossed a beat, scooped it up, kept playing, no problem!

On the other hand, the wife of a winger ex-workmate, now in her late 70s, still carries, in her purse, but is really clueless, other than, even at her age of being 'attacked'... Her winger hubby has always carried, 3 or 4 gun safes, paranoid to where they had steel shutters installed 20+ years ago.. Evangelicals, yup... Trumpers, yup.. Sadly, on the job, hubby was a good, fast, accurate wireman, loved the big jobs where it was repetitive, mindless work operations, so he could mull over his biblical meanderings.. Crazies..

There are dummies all around, living amongst us... Sadly...

Stupid people. This guy had no conceal carry license, let alone a permit to own a gun in NY.

Most handguns have no manual safety, some have two stage triggers, but that’s not safe either, and manufacturers sell magazines as x rounds +1, which means you can have 1 in the chamber along with a full magazine. That is irresponsible marketing.

The US army and Marines latest and new handguns, the Sig Sauer M17 and M18 come WITH manual safety, a requirement. Now, if the military will only HAVE handguns with manual safety, why would the average Joe want and or need one without? Having a loaded gun, to begin with, and playing with one while loaded, is unsafe. You only load when to use, and when carrying it concealed. No other times. At home, if there is a loaded gun, it should be “safe”.

An Israeli friend who runs a security and defense, etc., company in Florida, told me when he carries, he never has one in the chamber, and can load one in the chamber and shoot at a target in less than a second, which is the golden rule for self defense response.
