Trump is making the argument that he has more to offer African-American voters than anyone else who might be running this November and he particularly focused on Joe Biden, siting the 1994 Crime Bill, which he's calling the "Biden-Obama law". Now I'll admit that Joe Biden was a Senator in 1994 and was involved in this bill, but in 1994 Barack Obama was a lecturer at the University of Chicago Law School, hardly a platform from which he could have been involved in co-authoring legislation which was before the House and Senate in Washington, DC.
And if this is an example of the type of campaign Trump is going to be running for the next eight months, we're all in for a wild ride.
