Most folks won't go to the Doc for a cold/flu unless it damn near kills us.. So it will have a great time being spread around... Typical happening was my BIL and his wife came by, then we went off for dinner, then the next day SIL calls asking if we're feeling OK, because she's all tore up with some intestinal bug, had been coughing for the last 3 weeks, we find out now... Life goes on, but how many has she passed it along to in the last few weeks?

Keep up the Vitamin C & hope for the best...

TIME FOR MEDICARE FOR ALL - IT'S A NATIONAL SECURITY RISK NOT TO

by Thom Hartmann

As the coronavirus spreads around the world, the United States find itself as the only country in the world without a national healthcare system that can confront it. Ever since Franklin Roosevelt first proposed a national single payer healthcare system, and Harry Truman tried to put it into law, and LBJ started the process with Medicare and Medicaid, Republicans have fought to maintain profits for the banksters who run the health insurance companies instead of allowing Americans to have the safety and security of knowing that they can go to a doctor without going broke.

The biggest danger we face right now is that people who have mild symptoms of this disease - 80% of all those were infected - won't go to the doctor to get tested because they can't afford the co-pay and deductible, and will thus spread the disease deeper amongst our population. A man in Florida last week who had just come back from a country where the coronavirus was endemic, went to the hospital to get himself tested and it cost him over $3000. Republican and corporate Democratic efforts to maintain profits for the health insurance industry are literally putting us all at risk. It's time to have Medicare for all. It's a national security issue.
