If he means witnesses for Bidens, why would the Dems do a deal?
The Bidens aren't on trial and haven't been indicted for a crime by the DoJ. They have no information about Trump's high crimes and misdemeanors. They are simply the target of a GOP conspiracy job, like Benghazi, Seth Rich and Uranium One. The sort people like csl believe over and over.
The GOP, of course, are trying to turn the impeachment of Trump into a campaign ad against Biden. Such a solemn bunch.
Meanwhile, the pressure is on GOP senators who are desperate to avoid witness testimony, because they know Trump is guilty. There are no defence witnesses. Only distractions from the trial in which one side has an argument, witnesses and documentation available and the other does not.
Call Bolton, Mulvaney and the rest of the folks who were face-to-face with Trump. We already know from the folks on the phone and downstream what was going on. And we have an edited account of the extortionate phone call. If he wanted a fair trial, now is his opportunity.
