I think Dershowitz probably has a craftier game, but I am not sure what it is.
I don't really have a big issue with Starr. He's not an especially interesting person. But I think he did what he was asked to do re Clinton. He'll have been asked to join so that he can argue issues of precedent.
Alan Dershowitz is trying to have it both ways, saying he was opposed to Bill Clinton's impeachment, & voted for Hillary & he's doing this to protect the Constitution.
