I agree that these people are more-or-less indistinguishable from Moslem fundamentalists of various stripes. Not yet as organised as international terrorists. But heading there.

I find it hard to believe. The Enlightenment happened more than two hundred years ago. The US Constitution was a product of that. And yet, America today is heading backwards.

Do they actually even read the Bible? It says the sky is a tent attached to the earth at the edges. It says the sun is in motion around the earth. You just can't be a literalist and have your eyes open.

I think some of it is a form of feeling victimized.
They blame their circumstances on the 'other'.

Some are born into a family of racists, and carry that behavior as a badge.

I have difficulty understanding this deep hatred of people for reasons NONE of us have control of, what color we are, what our sexuality is, etc. It's all the luck of the sperm.

That said, these people are driven & a real danger.
They blend in, which makes them more dangerous.
They are our Taliban.
