As expected, the queen is giving them supportive cover for a transition period.

Have a feeling there's a bit of a difference between the Sussexes. Meghan probably always planned to bag her prince, then return to LA to create a Kardashian-like empire. He has ties to the UK and probably wants more of a halfway house. I doubt he would think making a fortune was worth the loss of his life, family and reputation, but he has been cornered into making a choice, with losing his wife and son as part of the mix.

What a mistake he has made.

I am not hopeful. But I am sure they will put a bow on it. The Sussexes are not my cup of tea. The less I see of them, the happier I will be. They couldn't better represent the sort of me-victim culture I despise. What a contrast with the Queen. And with William and Kate.
