Nope. But it's very artful on the part of Iran. Everyone who might be sympathetic, will be. They haven't been violent in making this decision. The need for defensive weaponry is apparent. It's America that looks like the cowboy.
If there's a hot war, they will make America make the decision. And then they'll lock them into another of these endless resistance situations, from which the US cannot release itself. All of America's military might seems rather pointless if winning wars means having control of a toxic peace.
