I believe there is a big element of wag the dog there, no doubt. Perfect opportunity.
But, there is also an element that we won’t stand for shit like that against our embassies any more. Trump took it a step further than Obama, and hit the snake’s head, along with its associated snakes, and despite being careful and wary of this situation now, it feels good to get rid of this snake. The question is whether Americans are ready for what will come next, and I don’t think that has sunk in yet. Next time something happens, we’ll have all kinds of condemnations for all kinds of reasons. Targeting US civilians at home, especially in fly over country, could be quite an experience to weather for everyone, because the fervent supporters of this kind of actions are protected in the back woods, and shitholes out there, while the rest of us live in AMERICA.
So, we’re talking a bittersweet thing here, along with impeachment stuff, and naivete of the average “plumber” out there, up the kazoo.
