Are you serious? They built those stairs for the sake of art? Not to get somewhere? Or for exercise? Wow. What a strange new world.

Picture from the Vessel in NYC.
It’s a huge piece of art in the center of the Public Square Garden in Hudson Yards. It’s a sculptor by Heatherwick Studio (2019), inspired by the stepwells of India.
They hiked up & down 2,400 steps, 154 interconnecting flights of stairs.

Amazing!
