Anyone who has lived through socialism knows what it does. Which is make a moribund economy.

I want the US to move leftwards, so it gets back to a sustainable centre. If that is all Sanders achieves, then okay. But I'd rather someone like Warren who has her eyes open, than a dreamer like Bernie who didn't learn anything from the 1970s and whose goal is actually to pursue a socialist nirvana.

Of course, they are both better than a crook like Trump. As are all the Dem candidates. A one term Biden presidency sounds like a decent idea to me. Kamala for Veep, as she solves several problems for Biden. If that works out, then you do a Harris-Buttigieg ticket next time. In 12 years, your Pete will be at the top of his game and ready to run the show. After 20 years, maybe the GOP will have fixed itself!!!

You're right, on both accounts.

and Bernie will not go gracefully...

This morning I saw an interesting poll, Bernie is very strong among the youngest voters, (free college, free medical, big dreams, little reality) but with those over 60 he drops off the cliff, I mean he only got 6% of them & they are the dependable voters.
