This was an own goal of monstrous proportions. It actually makes impeachment so much easier. There was no defence of the facts in the impeachment hearings. And the Trump-Barr conspiracy theory version of history lacks any evidence whatsoever.

Any amount of evidence that the conspiracy theory isn't true only confirms the theorists in their view that the Deep State is writing more lies which obscure the truth.

Deep State believers are ALL conspiracy theorists, who use those two words to continue believing whatever lunatic theories they have.

It's all just a Republican framing of the Cretan paradox.
