and... Trump claimed no one needs NATO more than France, when NATO came to our defense after 9/11, for the first time in their history.

We are lucky to have Canada as our neighbor!

Trump is a punk. Yet he seems to be enjoying taking credit for others paying more into NATO because of him, so I think he'll stay in.

And by the way, he insulted Canada to Trudeau's face.

That is, the same Canadians who show courage whenever asked by its allies for support.

They were there before the US in the first and second world wars. And as part of the British empire and its dominions, there were more of them on the beaches on D-Day than there were Americans.

They were with the US after 9/11 and stayed with the US in Afghanistan for more than a decade.

If there is one country I would never insult, it is Canada. And with Australia and New Zealand, they are absolutely the most reliable friend of liberty and democracy of ANY country, because they fight such wars when they didn't start them and might say they are too far removed from their own lives to get involved.

If anywhere is, Canada is the land of the free and the home of the brave.

Not a Canadian myself, but a citizen of a grateful ally. We will remember them.
