And by the way, he insulted Canada to Trudeau's face.

That is, the same Canadians who show courage whenever asked by its allies for support.

They were there before the US in the first and second world wars. And as part of the British empire and its dominions, there were more of them on the beaches on D-Day than there were Americans.

They were with the US after 9/11 and stayed with the US in Afghanistan for more than a decade.

If there is one country I would never insult, it is Canada. And with Australia and New Zealand, they are absolutely the most reliable friend of liberty and democracy of ANY country, because they fight such wars when they didn't start them and might say they are too far removed from their own lives to get involved.

If anywhere is, Canada is the land of the free and the home of the brave.

Not a Canadian myself, but a citizen of a grateful ally. We will remember them.

If you've seen the video of the three heads of state mocking Trump, then remember, it isn't about the loss of face. It's that the US president is known to be clueless by three major allies.

A man who is seen as a world-class joke figure is hardly a useful representative of the US. The US can do better.
