I am beginning to suspect that the queen has been forewarned that the evidence against Andrew is very serious. She's acting hurriedly as if she needs to inoculate the institution of the monarchy against a family member and former employee that has done something actually nefarious.
Was he really so foolish as to sleep with underage teens? I still hope not. But these responses suggest he may have done. If nothing else, the appearances are damaging. The punishment is already being implemented.
