Apple does have a presence in Austin, but they are opening up a new plant built on part of the former Robinson Ranch land which abuts Parmer Lane and is being parceled out for sale.

That plant IS owned by Flex, and has been there since 2013. The new Apple facility is not a manufacturing plant, but rather an office complex where Apple says its employees will perform a variety of functions, including "engineering, R&D, operations, finance, sales and customer support."

“I opened a major Apple manufacturing plant in Texas,” Trump wrote Wednesday. He is lying, as usual.
