Well, I have suggested Mitch McConnell, who is quite a cold and calculating character and wants to retain his seat in Kentucky, is the man who will do the job when the time comes.
But maybe Pelosi will come with him.
Trump needs to know that he has zero support from those who manage Congress. And that his support in the country is declining to levels at which a reelection campaign will be humiliating.
He just lost in spite of his best efforts in Kentucky and Louisiana.
Perhaps he can use his health as an excuse to step down.
