It's a wonder anyone is willing to work for Trump.

It's like a conveyor belt that takes you to jail. We've seen everyone from Cohen to Stone on the conveyor belt.

Now we see Giuliani and Sondland taking their seats.

We know Trump is plainly quite clever about manoeuvering people into corrupt behaviour. But surely folks see where it all leads.

It's the Monopoly presidency. Do Not Pass Go. Go directly to Jail. Do not collect $200.

It's clear what happened.

It's clear Trump is guilty. This wasn't Giuliani going rogue. Trump was the spider at the centre of the web. As he always is. But writing nothing down. As he always does.

Cohen learned to record his conversations with Trump. I wonder if Giuliani figured it out too. Insurance!

Meanwhile, the impeachment proceeds.

The question is, do Republicans think it is okay to bribe and extort foreign leaders for domestic political gain?

If it is, let's see which other countries wish to buy the presidency of the US, now that it's okay to do so.

Maybe Japan and Germany will offer a few billion to get a Dem president. Why not if this is the new rule? Maybe they can pay to have a new president milk US taxpayers for the benefit of their interests? Maybe the Japanese want the US to have a war with China? Pay another billion for that.

Hey, it doesn't quite reach the level of impeachment. It's just bribery and extortion.

Those are the issues the GOP might want to think about. I know. They ain't very bright. But that's what they are looking at.
